Communicating

Mathematical communication allows learners to describe and explain their mathematical thinking. Developing the skills of articulating reasoning and describing assumptions, explaining thinking and justifying conclusions provides powerful opportunities to develop mathematical competence, and for this competence to be meaningfully assessed.
