Invitation to Participate in the MeasEolMata Survey on Mathematics Education

​We are excited to announce the launch of the MeasEolMata survey, aimed at gathering insights from primary teachers in both Irish-Medium and English-Medium classrooms across Northern and Southern Ireland.
Tá an-áthas orainn seoladh an tsuirbhé MeasEolMata a fhógairt, suirbhé atá dírithe ar léargais a bhailiú ó bhunmhúinteoirí i seomraí ranga lán-Ghaeilge agus i seomraí ranga Béarla ar fud Thuaisceart agus Dheisceart na hÉireann.
MeasEolMata, stands for Measúnú (assessment), Eolaíocht (science), and Mata (mathematics). This initiative seeks to enhance the assessment practices in Mathematics and Science, ultimately improving the quality of STEM education.

The MeasEolMata project focuses on two key research questions:

Current Practices: What are the current understandings, practices, and priorities of primary teachers in their assessment of mathematical understanding?

Informing Development: How can these established practices inform the development, implementation, and assessment of high-quality STEM activities, allowing for authentic and meaningful assessment of both Mathematics and Science learning?
